Default Quick Question

Merry Christmas everyone. I was wondering if dye and perfume freelaundry detergentis the same as thestuff made by Scent Killer, RedHead, etc. Just want to be sure before I throw a batch in.

i use era free. i called era customer serviceand they said there are no uv brightners, perfumes or dyes it is just soap with no smell.

I've always wondered the same thing Steelhead31...it would sure be a lot cheaper than spending those high dollars $$$$ on a 32 oz.bottle that doesn't last very long! [&:]

I thought I smelled era before and it had one. Could be wrong. I know I opened and smelled as many as they had on the shelf with the claim. I did have a bottle of camo wash with me at the time and it had none.

I also read that most camo doesn't require a uv blocker because they don't use the kind of dye that causes it.

Well gents, I went ahead and washed a load. There is definitely a distinguishable odor even though it said "dye and perfume free." I wouldn't recommend using this stuff..[&:]
