I hate MI[&:]
And PA but no....location has nothing to do with it. [8D]
Let them go and they will grow!!
I've been successful at targeting 3.5 year olds John, help me spread that word across my state would ya. I've seen two 4.5 year olds in the last 10 years. I missed one and wasn't holding a bow on the second one. Caught him on film.
Two 4.5's in 10 years? Wow, word needs to get around for peeps to start passing them up where you hunt! I thought I had it bad. I wish you luck!
Schultzy, I can promise you there are guys who hunt PA that have never seen a 4.5 year old. Yeah, it's that bad...improving but has a long road ahead. Remember, with an estimate deer population of 1.3 million deer, we have 1 mil out there hunting them with 90% of them willing to send a bullet at the first 3 to one side or 4 to one side they see. But I don't want to hijack the thread. [:-]

I've been fortunate enough to see that in person, and guys I can tell you the pictures simply don't do it justice. That guy is INCREDIBLE! He's got another string of racks like that....There was, what would you say jm, 200 racks in the garage, something like that? He does amazing work.

There were a couple of sho 'nough giants come in the day we were there too.

Oh, and we met the "host" of the upcoming show, Who wants to marry a farmer".......no joke. What a character. True story.

He tans most everything himself. But his tanner will only hold a hide as big as an elk cape, or 3 or 4 deer hides. The bear and larger hides he sends off.
