Is it rude to call your taxidermistto ask if you can come over and hold your deer's antlers?

I miss them. I hunted for them for 3 seasons and held them for 1 minute.[8D]

Just go get them........he doesn't need them until the cape is back and he's ready to do the final mounting.
Then just have him give you a call when he's ready and take them back.

I know it's hard to believe, but I'll have mine back in about 6 weeks or so. [8D] My guy is pretty quick. He's good, but limits himself to 30 heads a year and I was like 5th in line or so......

Last year the buck we found dead that I had history with was finished in March, and we didn't get him till nearly the end of rifle season.........we were close to last in line with him.

Just in time to put on the wall in my newly renovated livingroom...or manroom.......wherever she wants it....[:-]

Yep.....My taxi gets my antlers when he's ready for them. He'd rather do it that way too.

You guys must do things differently up there, Greg.

I dunno. It sure was a surprise to get the first one back.....after not seeing it for 9 months. I may just wait on this one, too.

Honestly.....we go after these deer all season.....and we only get to admire their beauty (when we're fortunate enough to take on) for a precious few minutes/hours. That doe I shot the other night was absolutely a beautiful animal. Hope this doesn't sound "weird".
