Greg, I am going with 45 the last time I tried one it was a biotch on me. Scared me off at the time. (1989)

Bob, nothing wrong with that IMO big congrats to the little chit, lol

Good luck and enjoy. I have been shooting my Darton recurve for a while now and will be hog hunting with it a lot in the next few weeks trying for my first trad kill. What poundage bow are you getting? Mine is 49 lbs.

It may (the trad bug) bite you hard. I've had my Bear Montana for several months, now....and I'll be hunting with it "some" next year.

LOTS of fun to practice with.

Nice shooting, How much does that bear run? That Martin online is $340 might be able to find it cheaper
around here but not sure.

Is that some type of home made target?

I go tmine through Cabela's. I had a $20 off coupon.....but they run right around $299.00.

Yeah. Some guy local makes them for our shop owner to sell. Works great....and it's 3 seasons old.

Welcome to a new addiction. Ive seen you trolling around in the trad forum. lol. Just wait till you bag the first deer with a trad bow. Just like the first time you popped one with a compound. I love trad gear.
