Sounds like he may be on a pattern. Keep after him Mike! Good Luck gettin a crack at that big boy!
He certainly is interested in that food plot. Im not sure if its actually HIM that is interested in it or not though. It my be his lady friends that he is following around
It's always the ladies that get men in trouble...deer too!!

Good luck with him! I hope you get to let the air out of him soon!

For all of you guys that are having trouble understanding MH's decision remember that he isa pro staff memberof Heartland Bowhunters. That means that he has made a committment to that team of guys and part of that committment is to get as many quality filmed hunts as possible Now, I'm sure if he had taken the shot the other HB members would be the first to congratulate him, but in some small way he would feel like he had let them down a little by not getting it on film. It takes a very special hunter to put others ahead of himself when given an opportunity like that.

While I can't say I would have been able to resist temptation, I applaud you for doing so. Good luck on dropping him on film.

Thanks bud, I apreciate him.

I have made the decision however, that if he gives me another oportunity, camera light or not, im taking it. He has recieved his one get out of jail free card!

Im headed out tonight again after him. Switching things up a little bit and hunting a different stand - a stand that i would have had a shot on him both of the past two nights. The wind looks like its going to be good. Hopefully the third times a charm!!!

I have no regrets whatsoever, I have just made the decision that it was all i could take to let him walk by once. These opportunities are few, and season is coming to an end

and you guys are to blame for me passing that deer!! hahah

I want to be able to sharemy excitement and experienceswith you guys and all my friends. Ive got enought footage and stories on this buck to do so without the actual shot being on film, but it would just be that much sweeter if it was!

Exactly Greg,

Right now a lot of people are saying "Oh man, you shouldnt have done that. That was your chance!"

I know i will regret the decision (obviously) if i dont get another oportunity at the deer, but im confidant and remain optimistic!
