all this talk about best equipment and worst equipment a lot talked about boots so what is a good pair for the really cold weather something to keep you warm when its extra cold out . I ask this because i just went camping with my son and the boy scouts and the thick rubber bottom boots i had on just didn't cut it . I think i was warmer with my leather boots on. what do you recomend ? need ideas for me for Christmas

RE: boots
Here is what I wear......1 size too big is the best so you can move your foot around inside. I sat all day in these in Saskatchewan when it was -25 in the morning and highs of -3....plus a 20 mph wind. Had a toe warmer in the bottom, but they only last half the day, but my feet stayed warm all day.

RE: boots
I wear the Icemans made by Lacrosse! There a very good boot. I've had them for 8 years and there just about like new yet. We get -20 and -30 below temps here and my feet have stayed warm for the most part. There's many good boots out there I think.
