Great story, great buck, Congrats.
I had a friend that paddled a canoe a mile up river to get away from the other hunters. He was in his stand about 5 minutes when another bowhunter walked up under him, Kieth says, Hay man, where in the heck did you come from?
The other bowhunter said, My truck is parked on the road about 200 yards that way!!

That is the ultimate in hunting whitetails IMO (especially a mature buck). Being on the move still hunting on their level, getting yourself in bowrange, and sealing the deal. Very impressive. Congrats on a great hunt.

Believe me, 32 degrees and soaking wet is not comfortable!
