In my marraige, I take the 4x4, my vehicle, and my wife uses hers ..... now if we are both traveling far, I make her take the truck ... pretty simple .... I would rather break down than have her put in that position ....

If your wife is worried about getting deer blood inside of the explorer maybe she will let you get a hitch mounted cargo carrier. That should eliminate her worries. I use my suburban when hunting but still use the cargo carrier. It just makes everything easier.
