Awesome shed, that is a great bucl. Was the in MI or WI?
If you are serious about the split-brow tine thing, look at the picture, it has a split brow tine. For some reason, I hope your joking.

LOL, tell me if you guys see what I thought I saw...
the way the light/shadow contrasts are on his shirt, it looks like the shed has a split brow tine. btw, is there such a thing as a split brow?

Yep, they usually start dropping here about the first week of December. The season goes to the end of the month but by then you're lucky to have the rack left on him by the time he hits the ground.

Seems early to me too. Although I'm no shed hunting expert.
To find sheds, you have to have bucks around. That would explain it.
If you shoot a nice buck late season, and the rack falls off while you're dragging him, a taxidermist could fix that with no problem, right?
What if he would have been a 150" buck, but only one side is there? Could the taxidermist make the other side to match?

That's a nice buck. I'd be sick if I missed him but at least you got a little part of him back. I suppose you could look at this way, had you harvested him, you wouldn't have this little treasure and thread. There is always next year.
