No shot or roadkill. Just had a really nasty night at the bar and we had to get him home somehow. He is recovering now. Last time we let him drink on "two for" night.

Yeah, there are actually areas/states that require you to bring them out whole (gutted). Some guys would hire log skidders others use chainsaw winches. In either case you've got to be real careful about where you drop the hammer on one. The worst we do up here is require the quarters to come out on the bone in some areas but that's bad enough, some hind quarters we've taken were pushing up close to 150# on the bone!!
