You forgot to say anything about 'gamesmanship.' Like shooting 2" high on a 35 yard shot that you judged for 37. Then turning from the stake and muttering under your breath -but just loud enough for the next guy to hear- "why did I shoot that for 35?"

I hear ya, Arthur.....but if you did something similar on the golf course (Dang...knew I shoulda hit a 9iron) loud enough for your fellow competitor to hear it.....and before he's hit his shot.

That's a great post Matt. While I don't shoot 3D and probably never will, there is a lot of information that can be usefull in hunting situations as well.

I've taken baby steps back from the target if I thought people were back at the stake counting my steps though.............[8D]. Nothing is funnier than hearing the arrows rattling off trees after pulling this move.
