RE: New 2008 Elite GTO
Jeff - they're made by Elite - who also makes the Synergy and the Aigil.
As for why you'd deviate from the mainstream? There's something to be said about shooting a bow or a setup that nobody else is shooting. Just in the interest of being unique, I suppose. If you enjoy being different, that is. The warranties are the same, so why not? That's always the angle I'm working. Then again, I always kindago out of my way to be different than the masses and do things myway.
It's also worth mentioning that this bowis sportinga top-end set of "aftermarket"limbs.
As far as the 5 gpp bows go, this one looks like a pretty solid design - if it performs as advertised. Bows are notorious for not measuring up to their claimed IBO speeds.

No, I didn't take it as an elitist comment at all.
I just figured you were asking why would somebodygo for a small company's productwhen there are big companies out there offering a similar product at a similar price?
My answer was: same warranty, same price, opportunity to be different - why not?

I can tell by looking at that thing that there is going to be ABSOLUTELY no valley to it.
Just my opinion, I like it though. I'll have to see how they shoot after we get em' in the shop. An Elite would be the only thing I'd consider getting rid of my bow for.

Cougar, you 100% correct.....don't creep w/ that rascal, cause you won't be able to hold it.....SOLID back wall....When it breaks over, you're at full draw....

Well, what I don't get is why people think that cam looks nicer to draw. I see that and think, man, it's going to basically pull the same throughout the draw cycle. Like any other bow though, shoot it enough and you'll get used to it. Draw cycle doesn't bother me that much, it just determines my draw weight.
