Well get a grip buddy. I don't know that they lied to you. They simply told you you're not welcome anymore. Evidently you don't pay any dues or fees and were a guest. It seems the only reason you were there was because you were the son-in-law. Now you're not. They value your X-father-in-law enough not to make him uncomfortable. You may have been pals or friends with him..... but when the deal with his little girl went south so did all priviledges and bonds. Don't call them a liar. They told you how it is.... they don't want you there anymore. If the new boy friend fills you spot... so be it. Get on with life. You can't hang onto the father-in-law.

If you really dig the woman you are with today, think of it as a blessing.

Move on, or else eventually she might get the feeling that you are trying to hold to what was, rather than the future with her.

Well Davidmil when you are told by your ex-father-in-law that he wants to stay friends and things you expect things to stay that way. And then when You ask all parties involved in the decision making if you are still welcome at camp (Might I say I asked multiple times) and they all look you in the eye and say yes you still expect to be able to go to camp. The camp does not have dues. The only money that is paid is for all the beer and food for the time you stay there. You have to understand the situation to know why I think im being lied to. Anyway it doesn't matter, I have other places to hunt and im over it. I personally feel its for the best to have them completely out of my life. Anyway its over and done with. It just hurts to loose a friend.
