Ok back up.. Were you hunting on public land? Just how close were you to this guy? Why were you guys so close? Did you not know he was there? This is really hard to beleive!! Sorry you had to go throught that, very strange ordeal.

Trying too...Get error message that page not avail...I think the image is too large...working on it...The last one I shot scored 127 and is in NY State Big Buck Club and P&Y...This one is close looks like 125(cut off)..rough score..won't know until it dries....

That really bites! I had a guy take the second deer I ever shot with a bow in 1969. I was 13. My Dad and I followed the blod trail to a canal where the deer crossed, breaking the ice and died on the opposite bank. Some guy walks up and tags it! Mine was the only arrow in the deer! Everyone hunted with recurves back then, for the most part. My Dad yells to the guy saying he hopes he chokes on the venison. We watched as he dragged off my buck, a 6 pointer. I asked my Dad why someone would take someone elses deer. At 13, I couldn't comprehend how anyone could get any satisfaction from taking a deer that they didn't shoot. I'm 50 now and still don't get it![:@]

If this guy has truly been after that buck for a while I could see him being frustrated, but certainly not enough to stab a dead deer and try to claim it. What a wack-o. You are right, he should not be allowed to hunt.
