RE: What do you do?
Look for deer!
Keep my eyes and ears open and occasionally play a little solitaire.
Think about how many deer other people are killing.
Think about what I am doin wrong.
Pick out places for shooting lanes.
PRAY he wont run to far and fall in my 30ft valley.

Well, I can't make it all day in a stand. I go in the a.m. and then again in p.m. I know, I know, mistake, but I have serious A.D.D. and I gotta use the bathroom. But I will read on some of the hunts or just do nothing but sit.

I think being bored in your stand is something we all face. It is true you have got to put in the time. If I really get to where I think I can't stand it I break out a paperback and read for a while. I know that confidence in your stand location has a lot to do with getting bored. If I am sure I am going to get a shot there is not enough hours in the day. I continue to review shooting lanes and use my rangefinder alot. it helps to pass the time and really helps to be sure of the yardage. I use my binoc's alot. That helps at many levels.I have seen them comming many times at long range withand It also helps to pass the time. I dont talk on my cell phone or play wideo games. I have been known to take a short snooze but that is something I don't recomend. Talk about rude awakenings. Nothing wakes you up quite like that sensation fo falling.
