Way to go BC! That is a great public land deer. Heck I'd like to get one like that on private land! Will you be hunting with the trad gear now?

I have been using the longbow for stalking and hunting on the ground. Haven't got anything within 18yards and thats my limit this year.

I still havne't practiced from elevated stand. What I like to do is compound in the morning, and stalk around with the longbow.

I really need to setup a ladder stand I have to practice shooting the longbow out of a treestand.

I too have been switching back and forth. Now that I have 1 buck I'll be hunting MOSTLY with the recurve now. My recurve is only 54" so it handles well in a treestand.
