BIG buck
hey everyone this is my first post but i have been looking through the forums for quite some time. im 17 and live in pa, and i bowhunt at least 4 days a week
so today my friend came back from college and i tried to put him on some deer, at 6:10 pm he arrowed a nice 8 pt out of one of my best stands, not huge but very nice maybe 16 inch spread.
however the reason i joined was because today we hunted behind my house from 1-3pm and didnt see anything, now mind you we only have about 4 aceras of land. when we walked out and to my truck i saw a deer coming through the woods at full tilt a huge doe crossed my driveway at full run with the biggest buck i have ever seen around here chasing it. easily a 150 class buck, i think it was a 10 but could have been a 12 pter. following that was a small 6 and a nice 8. they where gone as quick as they came, what i wanted to know was what do you think the possibility the big boy will come back through? there is a nice rub line with 2 fresh scraps above my swamp but ive only seen a small 6 go through there.
sorry this was so long, but its great to be a new member

RE: BIG buck
ok well the west side of our property is a huge stream that deer sometimes cross but only if they get pushed out. the east side is where they came from, its about 200 acres of land outside of a development that is part of a large hunting clubs. there are a several big bucks i have spotted in the development this year, however this brusier put them to shame but if i had to guess i would say he lives somewhere up there. this is the first hot doe ive seen near my house. with a week left to hunt i plan on spending everynight that the wind is decenton stand near my house taking thursday, friday off and hunting all day there those days plus all day saturday. just wanted to know if you thought that he might be back, ive been seeing nice bucks at other spots and put 2 friends on nice bucks but i really want to get a monster this year and im willing to eat my tag if i cant fill it on a big boy.
i live in swiftwater pa, about 10 minutes from mt airy lodge if you know where that is, the big gambeling place that just opened.
i figure if i dont get a shot at this buck who knows he might get pushed over during rifle season. but i really would like to get it with the bow.
