Did you hear acrash? or did he keep going out of hearing distance? I shot one similar to this once before. He was quartering to me slightly and I did not get a clean pass through, however, the arrow was sticking out the shoulder and the bottom chest cavity at the same time. In other words, the arrow punctured all the way through with about 5 in" of arrow coming out both sides. The deer ran about 50 yds and expired, he was a big deer almost 200 lbs. I heard him crash so he was dead within seconds. Keep us posted!!!

Planter...
I would head out around noon time. Don't wait too much longer than that. Like stated above, he's already dead or gone... You may need several hours of good daylight.
Get a good tracking buddy if possible to give you hand. It's nice and cool today. Keep us posted.

If you smacked the shoulder and still expect to get liver, he was more than "slightly" quartering to you. Your best hope is tohave poked the 2nd lung just enough. Hopefully there will be a decent enough trail to follow with only 1 hole and you should find him.
If you only got one lung, and that's all. good luck.
