I think that you are shooting a deer. Not Godzilla. So just about any arrow will work as long as its the right weight and spine for your set up.

GoldTips are hard to beat. I was using the Hunter XT's. Switched to Carbon Force Pro's...then back to the Hunter XTs.

I'm a big fan of Beman ICS carbons... it seems these damn things are indestructable if you use the right spine for your setup...

what do you shoot?? poundage?? details details

best arrow is one that is spined properly for your setup and flies true.

personally, i like a somewhat heavier arrow than most..my finished arrow is over 450gr..i like the added energy it carries.

right now im shooting carbon express XP selects. i really like them and will most likely stick with them. tolerances are pretty much unmatched for the price..and they got the weight i like...and seem to be TOUGH arrows.

used to shoot easton epics. for the price, they are a decint arrow. tolerances arent close to the XP selects im shooting, and they arent as heavy and arent as durable...though they are still pretty durable arrows...for the price, they arent a bad arrow..but your current arrow is probably a better arrow...

I've killed deer with several types of carbons and several types of aluminums as well. Al the shots were pass-thrus. They will all kill a deer if set-ut properly with the correct spine and so forth. It's personal preference.
