RE: dec hunting and after rut hunting
You're right, Big Tim. The deer are much more spooky in Dec, especially after gun season and all the pressure they'll get. However, you have an ace in the hole... Let me explain. Any doe that is not bread when she goes into esterous the first time, roughly the first two weeks of Nov, will again go into esterousabout a month later. Yearling does usually fall into this catagory, as well as some mature does that were successful at playing "hard to get" durring their first cycle. I've taken some nice bucks in Dec, that were following these dinky little yearlings. Sure, they're more spooky at this point, but with love on their minds they still slip up now and again.Oh yeah, go thick in Dec! Good luck!
