I'm sure everyone has those stands that are of the old faithfull variety. The ones that you've had a lot of good hunts out of. Ones you've always seen deer out of. Ones that you've killed some nice bucks out of. What do you do when that changes? What do you do when you're not seeing anything out of that stand for awhile? Do you stick with it, ride it out, and chalk it up to just not being in the right place at the right time? Or do you start to think the stand location is useless and the deer arent' using that area anymore for whatever reason. Let's assume everything on the land has remained the same over the years to not change the deer patterns.

You don't want to burn a location out. It doesn't matter if you have hunted there for years or just this year. If you educated deer to you precence then you will likely have less sightings per trip. Got to keep options open to wind changes and times of the season.
