Default RE: Suburan or Farm. Let us know

I hunt on a 500 acre piece of property or so up in the mountains. It's just full of valleys and ridges but there also alot of agriculture setups around the property and a few on it itself. These deer are just not used to humans and can go up to 2 or 3 years without seeing anything resembling a human. So I have to be extremely quiet hunting this area. I've killed some nice bucks up here. On the other hand I also use to live 20 minutes outside of philadelphia and hunted a little public gameland hooked on to a power company. I literally hunted 30 downhill from aenergy plant and the deer that walked around couldn't care less what you were. I killed my biggest buck out of that stand

I hunt all suburban areas. And I have killed two P&Y deer in those areas. But I still love venturing to a farm, nothing else like it. Thankfully I have friends whom own land!

Ya know I've been hunting rural deer and urban deer for the last 12 years now. I've learned one very true thing..

Rural deer are much easier to hunt than their city cousin. I am sure it may not always be true.. but 90% of the time it is.

I'll take a country deer hunt anyday of the week.
