I gut them where they lay. I don't think the guts or blood have any effect on deer. I think you sweating and leaving stench all over the woods is more of a concern than the blood and guts. I'll gut them andtry to be as quiet as possible without being ridiculous about it dragging them out. I dont' try to set any records getting them out either. I go on the slowish side and try not to sweat up the woods too much.
