Wish me luck

RE: Wish me luck
Make sure somebody knows where you are hunting and a cell is a great idea too. I got hurt 10/13/1998 in the woods, all alone, and I am lucky to be alive. I missed the whole hunting season and a month of work. After that, I always hunt with a buddy. Good luck!

Just hunt safe. No shortcuts when it's comes to fall restraints. 5 ft or 20 ft won't make much difference if you take a dixie. Its been raining here and those tree steps get awful slippery.I figure you have one down about now and need some help dragging.

RE: Wish me luck
Update, i pulled into my parking spot only to see a deer in the land owners front yard. He took off so i started to walk.I got to my stand about 45 minutes before light and got settled in. While sitting there i had a bat fly into me unknowingly itscared us both equally. Then right around shooting time i hear some noise coming from an old abandoned bridge about 150 yards away. Well as it turns out some kids gota four wheeler stuck while trying to shoot a deer that night.(poaching) The owner of the property next to mecaught them shortly after all of the noise. He was out hunting to except he was on the property lines about 80 yards from where the kids were stuck. So they got in trouble and i sat there trying to kill a deer. Well dnr ended up walking over and checking all of my licenses and tags. After he left it was around 8:30 am and i decided to sit for a while longer and at about 9:05 i see a small doe and a button buck but they never even came close due to the water level from the rain. It was a tad high and they didn't want to cross the creek. So i climbed down and left the woods angry and upset. Ended up leaving at 9:30. Now i sit here just finishing breakfast contemplating where i should hunt this afternoon and 2morrow morning. so how was everyone else's morning.
