I would go and have, just make sure the tree is safe in that kind of wind. Good luck. I am not so sure the deer care about the wind, i have shot a nice doe in high wind. I guess if they are hungery.. they are gonna get up and move around.

I shot the two biggest bucks of my life on days when the wind was 25 to 35 mph. Both times I was hunting in a thick nasty area near bedding areas protected from the wind. And they were both around 4:30pm.
