How many of you have killed a mature buck you rattled in?
Please state time of the season (dates would be great), as well as location in the country. I'm just curious on how many people have really had success rattling......

And for the record, I classify a mature buck as any 3.5 year old buck or better. I don't care if they had 100" of antler or 200"......

Last October, somewhere around the 20th in SD. He came in offered me a shot, but i missed(big). Must have been the cold weather. Had multiple smaller bucks come into the horns.

Last year was the first year it ever worked for me. It was October 28th in the morning right at day light. He got within about 80 yards and took off.

They come into 50 yards and work down wind and the rest is well you know.
I really think two men hunting together is the answer one 40 yards down wind and silent.

South Alabama, aroung the first of the year. Two bucks came in about 20 yards before i even had a chance to put the antlers down. Suprised the hellout of me.
