Default skeeters

I'd like to get some opinions regarding the best way to keep the skeeters off of you. Last year I felt like a moron. I'd wash all my clothes in scent eliminating detergent, cover myself with scent eliminating spray. Then I would get to my stand and sit for an hour and couldn't take it anymore so I'd cover myself with OFF. The skeeters are bad here in Arkansas. What are some of the best ways to keep em off of you? What about a Thermacell?

GET A THERMACELL. I really didnt know how well they would work but once i bought one im telling you their awesome. I wouldnt be able to hunt early season without it. One thing you need to keep in mind is that they take about 15 min to start working so start it up when you are getting dressed so by the time your in the stand its full power.

Thats it.....I'm going to get a Thermacell for next season! I hear nothing but good things about them! Shouldn't need it for this season as the temps are dropping into the 30's for the low starting Tuesday evening for about 5 days, this should thin those little SOB's out for the rest of the year!

We just turn them into pets up here, Put saddles on them and let the grandkids ride them around the yard.
