I hit a doe right there from a sharp angle ....too low ......

Agreed, depending on the height it would affect how high I choose, but a normal treestand height is about 15'...

Agreed, depending on the height it would affect how high I choose, but a normal treestand height is about 15'...
Yessir ... Rob said he was 28' up .... if the deer was at 15 yards ..... this one would be too low ..... the spot you picked is a good one IMO

Glad to hear your getting around and are able to do a little hunting , just remember to take it easy and don't over do it.

Thank you guys, very much. I'm glad I'm out too and this was a nice little encounter. I told GMMAT and Kurt and I think I posted or PM'd someone that if they all made it through or at least stayed in the area there are at least 5 bucks that were 2.5 years old and older seen around my stands last year so I'm still very hopeful. I wanted to have a picture with my crutches layed across the deer along with my bow but more importantly, I want to ditch the crutches.

Alot of reads but few replies, I guess not everyone enjoyed my joke about shooting. [8D]
