Agreed, depending on the height it would affect how high I choose, but a normal treestand height is about 15'...

Glad to hear your getting around and are able to do a little hunting , just remember to take it easy and don't over do it.

Thank you guys, very much. I'm glad I'm out too and this was a nice little encounter. I told GMMAT and Kurt and I think I posted or PM'd someone that if they all made it through or at least stayed in the area there are at least 5 bucks that were 2.5 years old and older seen around my stands last year so I'm still very hopeful.
I wanted to have a picture with my crutches layed across the deer along with my bow but more importantly, I want to ditch the crutches.
Alot of reads but few replies, I guess not everyone enjoyed my joke about shooting. [8D]
