I like a bow with a longer ata, that is one reason I bought the commander over the gardian.I can aim and shoot a longer bow better than a short one,but that is just me and I'm used to hunting with a longer bow anyway my old mathews has an ata of 36 inches so I'm. only got a little over an inch more than what I was shooting

Won't the shock from the string blasting that suppressor make it more likely for the cables to pop off those rollers?? It doesn't look like they have any forward guards on them.
I'm sure they thought of this as well and made sure that won't happen but it was something that jumped out at me when I saw the bumper attached to the roller gaurd..........that energy has to go somewhere.

Thousands and thousands of cycles during testing say no.

Maybe Pat will grace us with his presence and offer more insight on the design of the cable guard. Here is a picture he posted in AT of the string suppressor design. He also mentioned that under slow motion video this new design outperforms other suppressors that were tested.

I like the looks of the bow, except for the string suppressor and roller guard. I think that could be designed much better... hopefully it's just a prototype with ideas

What's really hard to see is that there are little "fingers" that help catch the string to help it stop theoscillating quicker than othersupressors that were tested with high speed video equipment.I've never really been a fan of suppressors however I like the location andhow this one functions.

Like Greg said, they didn't have any problems with them in cycle testing and I haven't had any problems on mine and I've gotseveral hundred or so shots on mine so far.
As a matter of fact, they're pretty darn toughto take off of the rollers without pressing the bow.

I'm sure a problem that obvious would never make it to the final product............it just looks like that would happen.

6 1/8" brace height on a Bowtech is going to be a BEAST. Bring your arm guards . I know this will stir up the "What about the X-Force?" I know the X-Force draw curve isn't as nice as some but it DOES draw better than the Binary's do. That is PURELY my opinion though.
However, from what I hear, Hoyt isn't doing anything special next year. New cam, a 5ft faster bow than the Vulcan. A bow that matches my Vectrix XL specs, only 5 more feet. I really like the Vector cams though, my XL might stick around for some Indoor/3D this year, I didn't get a 60# bow for no reason.
As I posted up yesterday, PSE is kinda putting all their eggs in one basket with this X-Force design.
What can you expect from Mathew's? Probably nothing innovative, no offense. How much more can you Improve a single cam design? I'd be willing to bet they'll try to add a few feet to their new model.
I'm not even sure if Ross will come out with anything new this year after this Cardiac back up mess. If they do I'd say it'll be along the lines of a "Cardiac 2" with little to no variations. Whatever they do, be prepared for them to lose the Winners Choice strings and go to the Ninja/G5 strings. Apparently they have figured out that it costs way to much to outsource strings.
