Honestly.....
Mornings.....My wife is nice enough to take me to my entry spots. I ride on the tailgate....and she drops me off when we get to my entry point in the woods.
Evenings.....I take the ATV and leave EARLY....so that I don't spook anything drivning up to a distance that's far enough to be safe from scaring game.....and close enough to allow me to get to stand without sweating TOO much. I also take a LOT of time getting there.....if I have it. Heck I walked to stand last week, shirtless. Sprayed down when I got there....and dressed in my climber.
I can tell you this, though......NEXT year....I may sit out the really hot days....on principle. It's not THAT much fun when it's in the 90's.
