Matt,
Awesome story and incredible buck. Loved the highs and lows.
Very well written. Never read a post that long on HNI without losing interest.

Awesome! Congratulations man. I love to read great endings to stories like this. Especially one from here in PA.
Also i read a lot on here about Cardeer necklaces. I think that is really cool. Anyway of getting one? (not for luck but just seems like a really cool keepsake for hunters)

Matt, Congrats on a wonderful buck and a memory that will not ever leave you! You need to send that in to a few magazines ...... it needs to be published for tensof thousands to see

WOW, what an amazing story and deer! Congrats. Hearing stories about your determination to find and the respect you had for the deer makes me proud to be a bowhunter!! Thank you.

Matt, Congratulations on your persistence and hard work.Hunting York Co. all of my life, I know first hand the competition from other hunters we endure and that simply bucks like that are few and far. This will be something you'll never ever forget. I'm proud of what you have done. When youcatch your breath giveme a call!
Tell Frank I think his efforts were a little weak. He had 1 good ankle didn't he?Would he not listen when you explained to him what was at stake?

Matt, this is the best whitetail bowhunting story I've ever read. Many would have given up on that search. I'm honored to have been able to read it here along with the HNI family. As I just now walk out the door for my first 2007 bowhunt, I am going to wear my Cardeer necklace for the first time.
