RE: Wisconsin Hunters?
You know Bear Valley? It's about 7 miles north of Lone Rock, 12 miles north of Spring Green and 20 miles east of Richland Center. Great buck county and truly God's country. At night I like to head over to Baraboo and play Texas Hold'em at the Casino.
I also have a secret "Honey Hole" on some public hunting land inIowa County.

No. Your back tag must be worn at all times while you are hunting. It must be displayed in the center of your back or between the shoulders. The tags have been Neon Yellow for quite a few years. They did this for visibility reasons and made the numbers larger so the hunter or law breakercan be identified from a good distance away. If you see something illegal happening all you have to do is call in the tag number, the location of the violation, the time, etc. I think its a good system. But the $24.00 is a bit rediculous.

Can I cover mine up? I always thought you had to have it in the middle of your back and visible at all times (as in not covered by a hood or something)to be legal. I wouldn't mind wearing it on the walk in or out but on stand, I'm guessing it's pressed up against a tree most of the time.
