For someone to get out with his foot in a cast, climbinto a tree stand Isay that is true dedication. After reading this post, I know one thing,Ishould not have any excuses for not getting out. Hope you heal up quick.

I remember back when you you first posted about your injury, at that time I posted that I BET you'd find a way to get out this fall, and you did just that. Good for you. That'll speed the healing process faster than laying on the couch, gauranteed!!
I'd of have to draw my bow on that plump skin head though, after the pic. was taken any ways, just to get that feeling!

Everyone, thank you so much, it's very much appreciated. I particularly like this photo too.
Nice long nose on this nanny. She'd be the equivelant of a 140" buck no doubt and me with no doe tag yet. I hope it comes before I head up to hunt with Rick James on the 13th.
I'm not sure I'm making it out in the morning. I either have to walk in, in the dark or walk out in the dark...I'm opting to walk out in the dark. This is my walk in from as far as you can see beyond some of that "junk". The field road below to that white "junk" truck in the far middle (old mobile white home there to the left) and then that tree line. It's not a 1/2 mile but it's more than a 1/4 and I'm fighting weeds with the crutches. I exhausted myself going in Saturday afternoon.

Looks like you had a great hunt Rob, I'm glad you got to see some deer and watch another beautiful PA sunrise. Did they cash your check yet for the tag? Yesterday in front of your blind deer were out at 8:15am, 11:30am, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm when I left.........there are 3 seperate family groups on that plot now on a daily basis including one nanny that is at least 5.5 years old and looks like she may be part moose.

that video was real good can't believe you said it was bad quality. What kinda camera you got? Nice photo's too. Shows huge love of your sport to be up there with that cast. Plus your wife is awesome for letting you go. Good luck this afternoon.
