Congrats again, Jeff! That is one sweet hole ...... the bigger the better, I say! I am taking those puppies in the woods with me 2 weeks from today ..... I hope I have similiar results ....

What a mess!!! LOL Man that is one dead deer right there. I have been toying the idea of the Rages, but I am gonna hold that thought till next season. Can not argue the hole though. Did you cut the stomach or intestines on that shot?

I'll stick with the tried and true Spitfires. They make a nice hole as well. And I don't have to add little bands to them to keep them from opening.

Any hole that big in that area, will result in a prolapse of the intestines.
Even a fixed blade could do that. Thin skinned youngin' contributed to the result. Connective tissues accumulate as they mature, and would hold things in a little better on an older animal.
