better blood trail from a shot from the ground or a stand
i got a question
lets say your shooting the same arrow same broadhead lets say muzzy 100 gr since that is what i use
same deer same shot placement
would you get a better blood trail from a angled tree stand shot or from a ground shot or is it about the same
also is it possiable to hit both the lungs and heart from a stand

Big, I by no means am a expert on this matter--I can only tell my experience--If you get a pass thru thenI would say out a tree stand would be better--The downward angle would let blood out beter--But if you don't get a pass thru--your hole is high not much blood coming out "internal bleeding"---Now if your on the ground(blind)and you keep your shot low-and pass thru or if the arrow backs outfairly good blood trail--But if you hit high it don't matter--pass thru or not real goo chance of internal bleeding!!!
Don't know if it helps----I'm kinda confused now!!

A pass-through shot that goes in high on one side and comes out low on the otherdefinitely puts more blood on the ground faster than a level shot does. Gravity is one factor that comes into play and the fact that the body cavity does not have to fill up is the other.
