wi buck hunter

opening morning I was sitting in my favorite treejuston a branchand a small buck came running out of the brush to my side. he stopped right under my tree. then when I was moving to drawhecaught my movement and went to 20 yards out.I drew my bow and got the pin on him and released.the arrow hit a branch and went over his back. I was feeling terrible not paying attention to anything and a nice 6 point walked under my stand then I couldent get the bow back.

welcome to the site. you will learn so much on here. my first deer last year i had the same thing happen to me at like 8 yards. it was a good doe. it would have been my first deer ever and i have only bowhunted.
