Default Instant gratification - Rage 2 blade mini review

Well....I picked up three of these during lunch. They do fly like my field points....and for that matter....my Muzzy's.

We'll see what happens when they fly through a deer. Wish me luck.

BTW....does anyone know ofa source for more of these that isn't sold out?

I can ALSO see another benefit. I won't go through NEARLY as many BH targets with these practice heads. They should last 2x to 3x longer.

We've had them on backorder for a couple weeks at the shop. We can't keep them on the shelves, and every time we order them, they are on backorder......They can't make them fast enough, darn those Drury brothers! [:@]

I'm not a big fan of them myself, but apparently the guys that use them like them.

I hope you can understand my being inquisitive about them.....given my last week+, mobo. I am proud of the shot on that doe, Tuesday.....but the blood trail was non-existant.

I have YET to have a "no-brainer" blood trail on a whitetail. Even THIS shot produced a sparse trail.....and I can't do it any better than this.

No need to explain yourself friend, I understand the desire for more cutting diameter. That's PRECISELY why I changed to mechanical heads this year as well. Ifa 1 3/16" hole is good, a 2"is that much better.

GMMAT,

The Cabelas here in Sidney Nebraska always seems to have some on the shelf. I would guess that Cabelas should have them in stock somewhere.

This is my doe I shot last Saturday. My first time using these broadheads. For me they lived up to there name. Amazing hole and an even better blood trail. Only downfall I will add is that one of the blades is bent pretty bad and the tip is aswell. All in all I think I will continue to use them.

If I get one deer per head.....I can live with that.

$10/deer isn't a bad price in my book. If I get to re-use the head by replacing the blades......bonus.

Jeff - Don't know if you have them in your area but D1ck's Sporting Goods is the only place around here that still has them in stock. I'm sure you can find them on ebay as well. The shop has been sold out for a couple weeks now........can't find them at any of the normal distributors.
