If it were me, I would first search the low route back home. I think they like to go downhill and, of course, towards the water, if there is any.

I'm going to tryto post a photo.....but I might have to e-mail Rob and send it to him. I just got a new computer....and they lost my photo editing software.
She went towards "home".....to the right.....down hill.....and more right.....and more right. I was desparate to be looking where I did.
I have to go to worlk.....and I HAD to get that meat on ice. I didn't field dress the deer.....but I know my shot was still in the vitals....and as advertised. I'm proud of the shot. I can't explain the lack of a blood trail. I may look into another broadhead (but let's not discuss that, now....I'm too elated). She likely went 160-200yds. It was a hike from where I shot her.
