BOWTECH DIAMOND BOW vs MATHEWS
Hey guys..... me again... I asked this before but figure I needed to put in a subject line that would grab attention
I have an AR34 - I love it. harvested the largest deer I shot with it... a few times... I dropped it off for new winners choice cables and string the other day and looked at a Drenalin... Hmmm... REAL smooth draw - I was very impressed but didnt get to shoot it.... Yesterday I was at Gander Mountain and shot for the first time ever a Bowtech... a Diamond Black Ice.... I shot it bare bow (no sight or peep) and still managed 4" groups - even had 2 touching arrows in one group at 30 yards.... I was impressed by its feel and speed.... It really felt good and got me thinkin bout a new bow.....even though my 4 year old AR34 is 'my bow'....
Anyone here shot both a Drenalin AND a Black Ice ?? Anyone shootin a Black Ice ??
Im one of them guys that tunes till I can shoot bare shafts (no vanes) at or near same impact as field points up to 30 yards.... I KNOW my AR34 will do it...

RE: BOWTECH DIAMOND BOW vs MATHEWS
i got to shoot the mathews and diamond about two weeks back, the drenalin is a nice bow, light feeling in hand, slightly more agressive draw, but smooth... but i enjoyed the black ice more... felt it was way smoother (though a touch heavier), and had a slightly better feel to my hands in terms of the stock grip and toss in the $200 savings and I thought it was a no brainer... but to say the mathews was bad would be the wrong thing to say... if i hadn't tried the black ice i would be deciding between a bowtech and a mathews... another consideration, went by a different shop and they let me try a ross 334 (leftover 06 model) back to back with the black ice and a gaurdian... they were dealing another $100 less than the black ice and it is also another extremely nice rig, worth a look as well, they grip wasn't as nice as the black ice, but it shot as well and had possibly the smoothest draw of any bow i've tried to date... if money were no object i'd get the gaurdian, that thing is SWEET (and still about 20 bucks cheaper than the mathews)... I haven't shot a bad bow yet and am still having a tough time deciding, at the moment i'm leaning ross considering the bang for the buck factor... black ice is 2nd on the list (very close second)...
but you've gotta shoot 'em yourself to see what fits you best...
