I wouldn't mind getting some of that stuff. Why is it custom made? Seems S, M, L, XL and 2XL would cover the top part pretty easy for most guys with standard pants sizes doing the same for below the belt.
It is custom made for the simple fact Chuck wants to give the hunter what the hunter wants.

Some want extra pockets, double knee, elbowand butt sections, them some dont want the extra's

What about the "some" who wanna order a set of camo and have it in a couple weeks, and could care less about what are extra's, and what aren't? He makes a valid point.

Thanks. I don't stay on top of this stuff, that why I didn't know. For me, just abasic set of camo's would work. Don't need fancy. Just effective.

That's simple order a standard set, no extras, no problems and he'll simply fill that order ASAP.

He will have stock on hand as soon as he places all the orders. Remember, this is only going into the second season for Enigma, he's overwhelmed and trying.

When he started in 06 he simply wanted to build up a stock and then start showing it on the show circuit but people's demand for it was overwhelming and instead of stocking up, he started filling orders, he's still trying to catch up with the orders. Things are coming along greatly however, it all takes time. When the orders slow at all, stock will be filled. If you want anything, get the order in and expect some delays. Busy, busy, busy and it's hard to blame a company for that. We all want things now, I know I do when I want something but if I want something, I'll wait for it too. Take my Viper sight. I ordered it in Feb, was told March, got it in June...it was alright, I wanted it. I got it.

When you do receive you Enigma, you'll be getting the best material money can buy and unless you wish to change pattern it could be the last camo you need to purchase, this material does not fade and is hard pressed to tear it.

I'm waiting on the 3D suit. I want it now, I know it's coming when all the ducks are in a row, I'll wait for it. I have camo I can wear now until it comes.

I know Chuck is working on other fabric clothing for the less expensive archer however he has to get that perfect so it doesn't fade like some other camos do.

Chucks a great guy, those who have met him or work with him realize this, he deserves a little patience. You'll be rewarded.

Just my 1 cent.

How "patient" should a customer be expected to be????

Is 8 months+ "patient" enough?

I wanted my camo back for TURKEY season. That's come and gone. It' snow full-on deer season in NC.......and I don't have my camo I bought and paid for.

I'm aware that patience shou;d be expected. I'm also aware of what is considered RIDICULOUS to MANY.

My situation is RIDICULOUS.

My V1 jacket had the zipper break at the end of LAST deer season. My jacket didn't have front pockets.....and I was the one that got Chuck to add the grommet hole for the safety harness to pass through. I wanted that added to my jacket (and Chuck agreed), also.

I gave this back to him at New Year's. I haven't seen it, since.

Don't ya think enough is enough? I've already gone through my turkey season without it.....and part of my deer season, now.

Hell.....if everybodys having such a good response with their V2 camo.....I'll send my pants back, too.....and he can send me a new V2 suit. Right now.....I'll be pleasantly surprised to ever see anything.

I'll sing the praises of good customer service. I see NO reason to do so in this instance.

I agree with GMMAT, there are plenty of companies out there that could fill his orders in an instant. Whats Chuck doing sewing and filling each order by hand himself? The camo is alright, it looks great in black and white, but sticks out like a sore thumb other wise. But then again I have never been a band wagoner.

Jeff, Have you called or emailed him? Talk to Chuck personally, he is a great one for customer service. There have been some issues out of his control such as a death of the seamstress's husband I beleive and wrong fabric being shipped, this and that. Trust me, he's overworked but he will answer your email most likely the same day if not within a few hours. I bet he will refund you too if your not happy. He sent my order (9 month wait) before I even paid him. I just asked Sunday about a face mask and that day he had one going out to me with out even asking for payment, I had to ask him in another email how much to send him.The man will work with you, just contact him.

Rick:

Nothing...I repeat...NOTHING against Chuck as a person. I think he's a great guy. Business is business, though. How would YOU feel if you had a jacket in for a ZIPPER repair for over 8 months.....and people came on the board singing the praises of the second generation of the camo?

If I'm over the top....(and I don't think I am)....I apologize.

I am deer hunting RIGHT NOW. I already went through a turkey season without it. Ya know.......I'm done. it's not worth my time, anymore. I'll chalk it up as a loss.

Yes. Chuck is aware of my situation.

Hey here's a thought.....

If any of you dealers are having an easy time getting your stuff....I'll send you my pants that were worn for about 10 times.....and you can send me a V2 suit. If you're having good turn around times...I'm sure Chuck will make it right with you lickety-split.

Anyone?
