Uh oh...Houston we have a problem
I have been shooting VERY extensively lately. Got my new cam and split harness back on my bow yesterday. Got her timed, shooting bullets through paper. I'm driving tacks with field points and the Muzzy MX-3 practice head, I'm feeling good. I decide to try to shoot a regular hunting Muzzy MX-3. 20 yards, 4 inches low 3 inches left....try again, same result. Back up to 40 yards, 6 inches low, dead on left and right. My arrows spine perfectly, tearing bullets through paper. Tried it with the Predator vanes and Blazers, same result. Any recommendations? I don't want to move my sight just for broadheads. I'm still shooting alot of 3-d. For the first time in my life, I'm seriously considering a mechanical.

Tune the broadheads.
Move the rest to the right by a VERY small amount(1/32 at a time)if the broadheads shoot left.Same with up and down.
I can usually get my broadheads and field points together using this method.

Mine do the same thing when I shoot broadheads no matter what bow or arrow I shoot. I have a few Hoyts and a Guardian, they all shoot exactly the same, when Im dialed in with field points they shoot low and left a little. Thats why I always practice with braodheads when Im 1 week out from bow season. Only takes a minute or 2 to move your sights anyway.

Tell me if I'm understanding this right. Walkback tune first, meansing shoot your 20 yard pin at the same spot back to 40 or 50 yards. Or is it just on the same vertical line, not the same spot? Then after that, if you are consistantly shooting low with broadheads move the rest up slightly until they are all hitting the same spot? What about hitting a little left at 20? Is there a cure for that?

Well I guess it would be a low right tear. Meaning the point is hitting left and the knock end is tearing low right. What now TFOX? If you would rather PM me you could. It might be kind of hard for me to do alot of fine tuning here without being at work.
