Default Not sure any night of scouting will ever be better.

Didn't see a deer in the woods, but my little buddy joined me on his first scouting trip. He was a trooper too. Hiking over the hills and collecting acorns, walnuts and hickory nuts. Got a few scratches from the jagger bushes but never complained.

Most impressive was when he stopped, backed up and pointed out a deer track in the path.

He's already got his camo gear stored in my box to keep it clean and scent free. He's ready to go again.

that's great! i don't think he's going to forget it anytime soon.

I took my daughter scouting earlier this year. we sat in a box blind for no more then 10 minutes and a nice big doe started to walk by (until my daughter made noise and scared the doe away). It sure was cool though.

I plan to take him out in archery in a ground blind, so we will see how he does.
