Tell me about the Mathews LX
Guy's I am sure this question has been asked in the past but I do not get ovet to the bow hunting forum much so please excuse me if this is redundant ...what are your opinions of the Mathews XL? I just bought one about a year old from a co-worker and would like to know what to expect ..I know Mathews makes a great product but I would like to hear from some who have used this model ... I paid $300.00 for it and feel I got it worth the money.

its a good bow. The string is the only weak point of the bow that I'm aware of. The brace height is 6 5/8" which is a little short, but the slightly longer length makes for a decently forgiving bow.

Up until this year, I had shot one model of Mathews or another for the last 12 yrs. I shot an LX for two seasons and still feel that it was the best hunting bow Mathews ever made. I think it is the perfect blend between ATA length, brace height, and speed. You should be very happy with it. I look forward to pic of you and the bow kneeling by a big Kentucky buck.

You got one hell of a deal. The lx is pretty fast and has 80 percent let off. My friend shoots one and loves it.When you buy a high end matthews your getting your moneys worth. I shoot the bow they made a year earlier which was the legacy. I'll be shooting the legacy for awhile.
