Everybody is used to waxing their strings while they are on the bow/crossbow! But how many people actually take the string off and wax it like your giving it a message to get it down on all the strands of the string? It does make a difference!!

The only time I wax a string off the bow is when I'm making it.On the bow,I use a piece of leather and rub the wax into the string

if not, i see no point taking off your strings and cables to wax them...all youd be doing is waxing end serving...

I see no point in taking the string off the bow to wax it. You can still "message" it into all the fibers without removing it

isn't it massage? but anywho, yeah, I giver 'er a few strokes to get it worked in there.

Yeah I make sure I wax my bow string and cable up real good. Every few days or so and it does keep it in great condition!

i wax mine everytime i use it or look at it you cant wax it to much i use a hair dryer to melt it an get it into all the fibers

I do the same. I will spend 10 minutes or so after shooting and take care of my string. Even if I only shot 4 or 5 times.
