Cool home job.

I'm going to be trying the Montec SGH this year for any possums or coons that wander my way.
They look like they will get the job done.

Well my montecs always have shot lower than my field tips so I took a bench grinder to one of my old, dull montecs.
That there is/was not a hunting broadhead. It is a practice broadhead. Sometimes when people say that Montecs are not sharp I wonder if it's because they bought the practice broadheads thinking it's the hunting ones.

EDIT: great idea though, simple yet innovative, I like it.
Every practice head I've seen made by G5 is BLACK so that mistake won't be made.I think uou're wrong on that call.

Turtleshell, not all of the montec practice heads from G5 are black. Back a couple years ago when the montec's first came out the practice heads looked identical to the real broadheads. I had bought a box of each and only difference was sharpness and that it said practice broadhead on the package.

It was a hunting broadhead. I just put it through 2 deer and a rock last year. It was still in perfect shape except the tip was rounded.

This modified Montec looks like it might be a good turkey head.

For body shots? I think im gonna try to shoot my spring turkey in the head with it. I hit a tennis ball 10 out of 10 shots today at 30 yards.
