That there is/was not a hunting broadhead. It is a practice broadhead. Sometimes when people say that Montecs are not sharp I wonder if it's because they bought the practice broadheads thinking it's the hunting ones.
EDIT: great idea though, simple yet innovative, I like it.

Well my montecs always have shot lower than my field tips so I took a bench grinder to one of my old,dull montecs.

Turtleshell, not all of the montec practice heads from G5 are black. Back a couple years ago when the montec's first came out the practice heads looked identical to the real broadheads. I had bought a box of each and only difference was sharpness and that it said practice broadhead on the package.

It was a hunting broadhead. I just put it through 2 deer and a rock last year. It was still in perfect shape except the tip was rounded.
