Default Mathews Drenalin Reccomended Arrow Size?

My buddy has a new Drenalin. 29" draw, Muzzy Zero Effect, 26 1/2" arrow length, 70lb draw weight with 100 gr heads..

according to one chart its says 2315's, another says 2213's

His 2315's have terrible porpoising and can't be rid with raising the nock point.. His arrows are all hitting Fletch High in paper...

Any ideas?

Is that a typo? 29" draw with 26.5" arrow length? Are you sure thats right????

If that is in fact correct, charts would probably have you going with a 2213 or a 2018. Of the more common sizes that is. If you are getting a weak reaction from the 2213s... try a 2215 if you can still find them anywhere.

Use Carbon Arrows, get the full useage from the bow. I use Carbon Express Maximas 250s, or you can try the 350s

I was wondering about that. My first thought was "someone has an overdraw on a Drenalin?

The bow set up is identical to mine. Drenalin, 29" draw, 70#, but I shoot Gold Tips. I can say that Gold Tip 5575's at 29 1/2" with a 100 grain point (.400 spine) are underspined for my setup. 7595's (.340 spine) are acceptable, and 7595's in Hardwoods HD (.300 spine) are a bit over spined. I went with the 7595's in Hardwoods HD and increased the point weight to 125 grains. I lost a few FPS, added 80 grains of weight to my arrows, gained a little KE, and quieted the bow down dramatically.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you a liar, but I shoot a 28.5" draw length Drenalin with a Muzzy ZE and there's know way that I can shoot a 26.5" arrow. 27" maybe but not 26.5"

My Arrows rests on the Muzzy 3" back from the center of the Burger Button Hole!

the arrow must be not clearing something all the way for it to be porposeing that bad even when nock is high, the bow is out of tune not just wrong arrows and you should bea able to have zero nock heighth.

Not sure Bro. I've got a 29" draw and a 62# pull on my Dren, and I'm using a 28' arrow. Bemon ICS Camo Hunter 400 and a 410 gr weight. Rest is a QAD LD, and the arrows fly staright, all the time, every time. Don't know a lot about the Muzzy rest, but that arrow sure sounds short.
