The title say's it all....... If you were to shoot a P&Y qualifier this fall would you enter the animal into the records program?

Why or why not?

One thing that slightly annoys me is when I see people pouring over P&Y records, numbers and statistics but will not add to the data pool themselves.

I feel if you use their records program resources you should contribute to their records program as well.

BTW before anyone asks.... Having your animal scored by P&Y is FREE, however there is a $25 charge to enter it into the records program if it qualifies and you choose to enter it.

No, I wouldn't enter my buck if it made the books. I don't really see the point of entering an animal besides adding to P&Y's statistics on deer numbers. For the sake of just seeing my name published, I could care less.

No if and's and but's about it!! If i score one, it's on like donkey kong. P&y is a great program, it gives the bone hunter a goal to strive for and another way to honor your animal. I only have one entered in a book but it's the Hoosier book! If i get a p&y, and i should have three[:@]Its entered

I know. I have had a few posts about what P&Y does for the hunting community here in the past. Great Org.

You would have to buy the book after it is published (every 4 years) to read your name anyhow

Your stands are only good when YOU aren't sitting in them.... Ask your buddies

I have 2 in the book right now and will enter every one that qualifies. I also have 2 copies of the P&Y book with my entries in them. It is a neat feeling being in the record book alongside the likes Chuck Adams, Myles Keller and Randy Ulmer to name a few. I also just like to see the animals that come from the areas I hunt in.

Hopefully some Day I can enter one in the B&C Record Book. That would be extra special.
