Well done Greg

Try to belittle or chastise my hunting accomplishments. Good luck.
You missed my whole point. YOU were the one that felt it necessary to point out that I'd never taken a P&Y animal (I never mentioned yours). I didn't know that was a prerequisite to answer the poll.

It's about your saying they (P&Y) make you jump through "hoops". Sounds derogatory to me.
Didn't intend for the "process" of having to join an organization.....Pay a fee......wait for a drying period....travel to an "official" P&Y scorer....submit the photos........submit the application...etc... to imply that the process was derogatory. If you don't think it is.....more power to ya. It's simply my opinion that it's jumping through hoops..

I did not miss any points. If you have never went through the process, how would you know what hoops there are to jump through. I've had scorers come to my house, measure, take my check and complete the whole process in an hour. The horns will be waiting longer than 60 days before the taxi's ready anyway. This is why I pointed out that you've never had the oppurtunity to go through this proceedure. Nothing more... it's that simple. Until you try it, how will you know? If you simply choose not to go through with it, so be it. Just don't make it seem like some big hassle when you've never done it. Please don't make this any more complicated than it is. I'm done discussing it. That's gospel.[:-]

I lied. I am a NWTF member. I'll be a QDMA member, soon.

But I fail to see the relevancy of me citing P&Y statistics to this thread. I'm sure they're a great organization. I just don't see the big deal with being a member. I know some won't believe that.......but it's true.

Again, I am not suggesting becoming a member of P&Y. Only that I believe if you utilize their statistics for personal use you should enter any qualifiers that you may have into their records program as well. You are pulling data from 1000's of other hunters kills across the country but deny these same huntersthe same opportunity to pull data of yours.

Can you see what I am getting at or is it a lost cause?

No lost cause, Buckeye.....

I stated earlier that I'd be willing to listen to why someone thinks I should become a memeber (my original post on this thread). What good is the data to someone else (mine)?

Do I have to pay the $$ and go through the "hoops" () to enter an animal?

The same good it is for you when you used it...I believe it was you that posted a map showing entries across the country.

mornin my little peach nut

Buckeye I am going to give it a try. I will enter my 2005 bucks and let you know.
GMMAT I will give a full report.

It's ok to say "I do not want to enter one" It's the hunters choice.

Why is it so hard for you guys to understand that I'm pretty sure I understand the process for a Seattle Seahawks fan club membership....but I have no desire to go through it????

Do I have to do THAT, too, to be "educated"?
