Step 1: Call Cabela's online customer service and request a return authoriztion number. Tell them it's for a light you received from them that is defective.
Step 2: Send it back to them....and have them credit you for shipping charges on your return freight.
I'll bet you the $15 that this will work.

You'll find out that the Cabela's in Wheeling, WV has done this sort of thing before. What they are doing is selling people stuff that is returned and was probably in the "Bargain Cave". I too have heard of others who have recieved faulty and "seconds" stuff that they have ordered there.
